General Questions

Do you accommodate paleo and vegan diets? 

YES!

Paleo options are listed under the dish variations when available and are offered with the original protein offering of the dish although we may be able to accommodate your protein preference with proper advanced notice. Our set menu of Tacos al Pastor, Southwest Salad and Mole come with vegan and paleo options so we can be sure to offer you those dietary options each week.

Vegan options come with vegan carnitas we make using jackfruit. Vegan Tacos al Pastor and Vegan Mole Carnitas are a couple of options we offer weekly.

Do you accommodate gluten free, dairy free and nut free diets?

98% of our menu is gluten free. Each dish each week is labeled if it is gluten-free, dairy-free and/or nut-free. We also list what to omit to make the dish dairy-free if we don’t offer the option sent to you under that description so you can omit the ingredients you cannot eat.

What is your minimum plan?

It depends. Minimum orders are of 3 dishes for 2= 6 portions. Just choose 3 dishes and delivery is also included!

If you order 1 detox package, this also constitutes as the minimum plan and also includes delivery.

If you desire to order spice blends you must order at least $599 pesos to receive free delivery. Otherwise, you may order by the jar but you must pay for the delivery which is based on veloz prices. Contact us directly when ordering fewer than 3 items since that is the minimum per cart in order to place an order. More information on our contact us page.

Can I enroll for a weekly or bi-weekly automatic payments?

Yes! We will set you up on a plan with a plugin we use for recurring orders. Contact us directly for this offer by phone or email. Information on our contact us page.

Are you hiring?

Possibly. Send us your resume and a cover letting telling us about you and why you want to work with us at gabrielle@savvyandwell.com and we will contact you if we are hiring.

Recipes & Ingredients:

How long will my ingredients last in the fridge?

This depends. Raw proteins are labeled with the expiration date, please cook them before then even if you do not plan to eat them right away. They will last a bit longer in your refrigerated cooked. Here is a great list by the food and drug administration on storage times for the refrigerator.

Are your ingredients organic?

We strive to offer high quality ingredients over organic. Antibiotic free and hormone free portions are more important to us than offering organic since it can be prohibitively expensive. We hope to offer more organic produce as we grow and can buy in bulk from organic farmers. We are excited to support local farmers and the local economy whenever possible.

Where do you source your ingredients?

We source from fruit markets, reputable seafood mongers and butchers who provide antibiotic-free and hormone-free proteins.

Where can I find the complete recipes for the meal sauces and sides?

We are working on an eCookbook of the complete recipes that include sauces and sides. Interested in your copy when it is ready? Email us and let us know so we can send you a copy when it is ready.

Delivery & Shipping:

Do you deliver to my community? 

We currently include free delivery (for minimum orders) in all of the Bahia de Banderas from Mismaloya to La Cruz. If we don’t deliver to you, email us and we can work out a pick up location for you. If you enter your zip code and it is not located in our system please email us at gabrielle@savvyandwell.com with your zip code and we will verify whether we deliver to your location or not.

When will my delivery arrive?

We deliver on Thursdays and confirm with you the time of your delivery to be sure someone is home to receive out package. Because the ingredients are raw and must be refrigerated it is very important for someone to be home and for you to communicate with us your preferred delivery times in the notes section when you place your order.

What if my delivery is missing an ingredient?

If your order is missing an ingredient please email us at gabrielle@savvyandwell.com or call 322.148.5991 and we will get it to you ASAP or give you a credit for a future order.
