Mole Verde Seasoning
Add flavor without all the calories with this blend of spices.We recommend it on fish and chicken. Cauliower for vegetarians. Use in stews to save time and effort. We recommend generous use, aproximately 1 tablespoon for 4 portions. Find recipes on www.savvyandwell.com
Ingredients: parsley, candied lime peel, cumin, black pepper, guajillo chile, cilantro seed, fennel seed, onion powder, garlic powder, mint, epazote, oregano and clove

Mole Verde Rice
1 cup Jasmine Rice
1 tsp Olive oil
1/2 Onion, chopped
1 Lemon, zest only
1 1/2 cup Water or broth
1 tbsp S&W Mole Verde Seasoning
- Rinse the rice and strain. While it is straining, add a heavy bottomed pot over a medium-high flame. Add a tsp of oil, the chopped onion and cook for 3 minutes. Add the Mole Verde Seasoning and stir 1 minute. Add the rice, water and zest. Bring to a rolling boil before covering, setting the flame to low and cooking for 15 minutes. Once your timer goes off, take off the heat and let stand for 10 minutes before fluffing with a fork. Add S&W Everything seasoning if it needs more salt and pepper.
