Chai Tea

Using our Choco Chai seasoning makes enjoying a Hot or Iced Chai Tea a breeze!

Chai Tea

1 cup Milk of Choice

1 tsp Choco Chai Seasoning

1 cup Earl Gray or Preferred Black Tea

1 tbsp Honey

  1. Add the choco chai seasoning and milk into a small saucepan. Place over medium low heat and let simmer for 5 minutes while you make your black tea. Do not let boil or it will break your milk especially if it is a homemade nut milk.
  2. Make black tea as directed by the label.
  3. Strain the black tea into the chai infused milk, mix in some honey if desired, and enjoy! If you want to make Iced Chai, refrigerate and enjoy over ice. You can place it hot over ice right away but it will taste watered down and bland. Add more seasoning and sweetener as desired.

Chocolate Martini

This is a collaboration recipe with No Way Jose! in Old Town Vallarta. Our Choco Chai seasoning worked deliciously on the rim of their Chocolate Martini Glass

Check out the recipe in the following graphic:

We originally had named the choco chai seasoning chocobanana because it goes really well with banana recipes, but people thought it contained banana in the recipe so we changed it to choco chai to avoid confusion. The chai seasoning recipe is a traditional chai I learned from my friend and former exchange student from India to the USA Sucheta when I was younger. I added a touch of cacao and unrefined cane sugar, muscovado.
