Mil Usos (A thousand Uses)
Ingredients: hibiscus flower powder, unrefined muscovado sugar, shiitake mushroom powder, salt, black pepper
NY Strip Steak with Sautéed Onions and Peppers
Poblano Pepper, sliced
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp Mil Usos
- Sauté sliced onions and poblano peppers in olive oil and a tsp of Mil Usos Seasoning. Cook until softened, about 10 minutes. Heat up a sauté pan over medium-high heat. With a paper towel, dry one side of the steak. Generously season the steak with Mil Usos. Cook 3 minutes per side for medium-rare. Cook to desired doneness, slice and serve over the sautéed onions and peppers. Serve with a Baked Sweet Potato and Sautéed Spinach and Bourbon Sauce.
