Back in January, I had the pleasure of joining the Savvy & Well team and got my first experience with their amazing spices. I was excited to learn everything I could, while also transforming my own views on spices and health food. The mission of Savvy & Well is more than perfectly packaged glass jars of spice.
Then and Now
I will admit that when I thought of spices, I thought of salt, pepper and a few seasoning mixes. I just figured seasoning blends were just a mix of whatever spice they wanted to use. What I did not know, was that spices can be created to transform food, not just add spice. Choco Chai, Barbacoa Caribeña and Curry-Biryani are just some of the blends available that are a flavor profile all their own. The versatility of the spices can’t be compared to anything you can find in a store.
What I found personally in these spices, is a renewed sense of adventure when cooking. Crafting a recipe with a specific blend in mind was a creative outlet that made even the prep for dinner fun! You can find the same thing with Savvy and Well too!
